Pattern Use and Copyright Agreement, and Printing Instructions for Free Patterns.

By printing this free pattern, you agree to the following:

* I am the designer of the the patterns on this website and I hold the copyright to these patterns.

* You will use these patterns for your personal use only.

* You will not pass on these patterns electronically or in any manner to others. (Including photo copying)

* You will not offer any of these patterns on any other website for downloading, for any reason.

* You will not offer any of these patterns as a trade or swap.

* You will not sell these patterns anywhere, including online auction sites.

* You will not alter the patterns and reprint them.

* You will not claim to be the designer of these patterns.

* You will not save the patterns to your hard drive, or any hard drive or CD, or floppy disk.

* You will not mass produce these patterns. They are for personal hand stitching, not for machine stitching.

* You can make (1) photocopy of the pattern if you need to make the symbols larger to read.

* You can sell, or give away, the finished, hand-stitched design. (Again, not machine stitched.)

* You agree that if you are found to have been abusing this privilege, you will not be allowed onto this website. I reserve the right to pursue legal action against you for copyright infringement. We track pattern downloads and can see if these privileges are being abused.)

* Basically, please, enjoy these patterns for your own use.  I know it's very easy and tempting to pass on electronic files or to make photo copies. I try very hard to keep costs down and make being a member very affordable. Copyright infringement is just plain stealing. Please don't steal from me or any other designer. We invest a lot of time, creative energy, and money to run our small businesses. I am not getting rich from this venture, just trying to "pay the bills" like everyone else. You wouldn't steal from your neighbor or from a needlework shop, please don't steal from me. Remember, behind craft sites like mine is a real person, just like you.

1) The patterns are in PDF format. Make sure you have a PDF reader installed on you computer before beginning. There are several free PDF readers available. The following link is popular: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/

2) Some patterns are quite large and may take a few minutes to download. Make sure you have enough paper and ink in your printer. When I print my patterns, I use the "draft" print mode. It saves on ink and the symbols print out just fine.

3) Use the print button that's on the PDF reader.

4) If you have trouble printing, check your PDF reader, printer or computer first. We are not qualified to help with technical assistance for PDF readers, your personal computer or printer. If you are sure the problem is with the pattern, please contact us.
